Whilst in Hintertux on the World Class Skiing second week , we were lucky enough to have skiing with us a chartered Physiotherapist, (Jo Dafforn BSc(Hons) MSc Physio). We discussed the best ways in which to warm the body up effectively and easily before your first run. Seen here, Jo demonstrates a ‘soft’ warm up to get those muscles and tendons ready for your days enjoyment!


Remember however, once you have carried out this routine before you ski, your first run should still be a gentle, controlled descent, for say 15 mins or so, rather than shoot off at your highest speed! That would be dangerous for you and for other mountain users.
