Me; Alex Leaf…
A ski professional of 32 years!, I started my skiing career in Chatel, France in 1978.   Since then I have been teaching on many different levels, from absolute beginners to international level ski teachers.

Skiing is my way of life, it is in my blood….. as they say! My careers advisor at school said that ski teaching was not a career.  Well, he was wrong!   I think if you visualise your future, that is exactly what you get and this career is just great!

My professional experience and qualifications;

  • I.S.T.D. (International Ski Teacher Diploma)
  • B.A.S.I. (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) Trainer
  • Hold the ‘Carte Professionnelle D’ educatateur Sportif’  (Qualification, ski : BEES option : ski alpin )
  • Granted ‘Staatlicher Skilehrer ‘ equivilance in Austria (Highest level)
  • Member of the British Demonstration Ski Team, for events in Japan and Norway

Hope to ski with you some day!

    I have no idea whether this will reach your or whether this is the right place to leave a message of thanks to you but I can’t find any other way of contacting you! You recently taught my son Joe on your Base course in Argentina and I wanted to say a big thank you for raising his game and getting him through all the stages to success. I think he had a great time and was certainly grateful to you for all the help that you gave him along the way. You did a great job, thanks so much from one relieved mum, Ali Birch.
